San Diego Wave FC center back Kennedy Wesley is heading back to the international stage.

Wesley was named to the 26-player roster by Emma Hayes for the 2026 SheBelieves Cup, marking her fourth senior national team call-up.

The 21-year-old has already made three appearances for the United States women's national soccer team, earning her first senior call-up just a few months ago in October. Now, she’ll once again represent the United States in one of the program’s annual marquee tournaments.

About the SheBelieves Cup

The 2026 edition of the SheBelieves Cup will feature the United States competing against Argentina, Canada, and Colombia in a three-match round-robin tournament.

The USWNT opens play on March 1 in Nashville against Argentina, followed by a March 4 matchup with Canada in Columbus. The tournament wraps up March 7 in Harrison, where the U.S. will face Colombia.

Wesley’s call-up comes just ahead of the Wave’s 2026 NWSL season opener on March 14 against the Houston Dash, giving her a chance to gain valuable minutes at the international level before returning to San Diego.
