San Diego FC's standout winger Anders Dreyer has added another milestone to what has already been an outstanding MLS career. Major League Soccer announced Wednesday that Dreyer has been selected to the 2026 MLS All-Star Game, where he'll represent San Diego FC against the LIGA MX All-Stars on July 29 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.

The selection comes as little surprise given the impact Dreyer has made during the 2026 season. Through 15 league matches, the Danish playmaker has recorded six goals and a league-leading nine assists while also topping MLS with 44 key passes. Whether he's creating chances for teammates or finding the back of the net himself, Dreyer has remained the creative engine of San Diego FC's attack.

Since arriving ahead of the club's inaugural 2025 campaign as San Diego FC's second-ever Designated Player, Dreyer has quickly established himself as one of Major League Soccer's elite attacking players. His debut season ended with MLS Newcomer of the Year honors after producing 38 goal contributions, tying the league record for a first-year player. He also became the second-fastest player in MLS history to reach both 20 career goals and 20 career assists, trailing only Lionel Messi.

Now in his second season, Dreyer has continued to elevate his game. Across 60 regular season appearances for San Diego FC, he has totaled an incredible 62 goal contributions, scoring 30 goals while adding 32 assists. His vision, movement, and ability to unlock defenses have made him one of the league's most dangerous attacking midfielders and one of the biggest reasons behind San Diego FC's success.

Dreyer will join many of Major League Soccer's biggest stars in Charlotte, including World Cup standouts Matt Freese, Petar Musa, Richie Laryea, Thomas Müller, Evander, and Sam Surridge.

For San Diego FC supporters, Dreyer's selection is another reminder of just how special the club's first two seasons have been. From setting league records during his rookie campaign to once again ranking among MLS's most productive attackers in 2026, the Danish international continues to prove he's one of the premier talents in North American soccer.
