The biggest storyline heading into Orlando is momentum. SDFC has won consecutive MLS matches against Colorado and LA Galaxy while climbing back into a playoff position.

SDFC will now have to take that attacking form on the road. Orlando has shown defensive vulnerabilities throughout the season, so getting Achouri and Dreyer into dangerous areas could be the key.

Orlando has shown a vulnerability to fast breaks throughout the season. The Lions face more fast-break attacks than any other team in MLS and have conceded seven goals from those situations.
That presents a clear opportunity for SDFC.
If San Diego can win the ball and quickly find Achouri or Dreyer in space, Orlando's defensive structure could be exposed. SDFC should look to play vertically rather than allowing Orlando to recover and organize.
The ability to transition quickly could ultimately decide this match.

Orlando likes to play directly and attack through central areas. The club has recorded 43 direct attacks, fifth-most in MLS, while its 38 through balls rank fourth in the league.
The bigger concern for Orlando is on the defensive side. The Lions have allowed 54 goals, tied for the most in MLS, while their 46.62 xGA is the highest in the league. They have also faced a league-high 147 shots on target.
That should be an encouraging matchup for SDFC. Orlando has also faced the most fast-break attacks in MLS and has allowed seven goals on fast breaks. If San Diego can win the ball and immediately get it forward to Achouri and Dreyer, there should be opportunities to exploit Orlando's defensive transition.

Antoine Griezmann
The biggest name on the Orlando roster is obviously Antoine Griezmann.
Since joining Orlando, the French star has started all seven MLS matches and recorded four goals and three assists, giving him seven goal contributions in his first seven starts. Orlando has earned 11 points during that stretch.
At 35 years old, Griezmann brings an enormous amount of experience after spending most of his career with Atlético Madrid and Barcelona. He is still capable of creating chances, beating defenders off the dribble and finishing himself.
For SDFC, the challenge will be limiting his influence. Orlando has struggled defensively, but Griezmann gives the club the kind of individual quality that can change a match with one play.
Elias Achouri
Achouri has quickly become one of the most interesting additions to SDFC's attack.
The Tunisian winger has scored in both of his starts and now has two goals in four appearances since joining the club in July.
With Lewis Morgan now traded to Toronto FC and Chucky Lozano no longer in the picture, Achouri has become an important piece of SDFC's attack. His ability to provide another threat opposite Dreyer gives San Diego more ways to attack.
Against an Orlando defense that has struggled with fast breaks and quality chances, Achouri could be particularly important.
If SDFC can move the ball quickly, attack the space behind Orlando's defense and keep Griezmann from controlling the game, there is a very good opportunity to leave Florida with three points.
