San Diego FC have submitted their official CONCACAF Champions Cup roster ahead of the first match against Liga MX side Pumas UNAM.
The 25-man roster predictably did not feature Hirving Lozano. It also did not list Paddy McNair – who has not yet been announced as departing the club but has been linked with a move back to England's EFL. Newcomers Osvald Soe, Wilson Eisner, Lewis Morgan, and Kieran Sargent are all included in the squad.
Teams participating in the CCC had a deadline of January 26th, to submit their official club rosters. Despite the deadline, clubs who have not filled all 35 available roster spots can continue adding players up to 44 hours before each match. Once a player has been registered, they may not be removed or replaced. Clubs must select 18-24 players from the initial 35 player availability list for their matchday roster.
Lewis Morgan is registered as the number nine. Tomas Angel, who previously wore the nine shirt, will debut his new number - 39. Angel has been speculated to join Argentine side, Independiente, but those talks are just rumors as of right now.

About CONCACAF Champions Cup
The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup will mark the 61st staging of the confederation’s top men’s club tournament and will run from February through May. Along with awarding the continental title, the competition will also decide one of Concacaf’s four berths in the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup.
The tournament follows a straight knockout format spread across five rounds. Play begins with Round One in February, followed by the Round of 16 in March, the Quarterfinals in April, and the Semifinals across April and May. The championship match is scheduled for Saturday, May 30.
All rounds leading up to the Final will be contested over two legs, with clubs playing both home and away. The Final itself will be decided in a single match to crown the regional champion.
A total of 27 teams are set to compete, with 22 entering the tournament in the opening round and five advancing directly to the Round of 16.
