San Diego FC's roster for the 2026 Leagues Cup is officially set.

Major League Soccer and Leagues Cup released the official 30-player rosters for all 36 participating clubs on Monday, giving fans their first look at the squad SDFC will take into this year's tournament.

The biggest takeaway is the inclusion of all three of San Diego's newest arrivals. Midfielders Gabriel Pirani and Dagur Dan Thorhallsson are both available after joining the club during the summer transfer window, while newly signed Designated Player Elias Achouri is also on the roster. The Tunisian international will wear No. 99 for San Diego FC.

Achouri was introduced to supporters before last weekend's 1-0 victory over FC Dallas but had yet to make his debut or reveal his squad number. With the roster now finalized, fans won't have to wait any longer to find out.

The additions of Achouri, Pirani, and Thorhallsson provide Mikey Varas with valuable reinforcements as San Diego begins its Leagues Cup campaign. Achouri brings pace and creativity to the attack, Pirani adds another technical option in midfield, and Thorhallsson offers versatility and experience across multiple positions.

Leagues Cup rules allow clubs to register up to 30 players for the tournament, with matchday squads consisting of 23 players, including three goalkeepers. Teams may make a limited number of roster changes before the knockout rounds in the event of injury, illness, or transfers.

San Diego FC will now turn its attention to the tournament opener, where the club will look to carry its recent momentum into a competition that features every MLS and Liga MX side.

The first match is on 8/6 when San Diego will travel to Estadio Banorte to face Club America before returning to host back-to-back matches against Tijuana Xolos on 8/9 and Puebla on 8/12.
