San Diego FC Sign 18-Year Old Winger Bryan Zamblé

San Diego FC has added another piece for the future, signing winger Bryan Zamblé to a guaranteed deal through 2026, with club options that could keep him in San Diego through the 2029–30 season. The 18-year-old will occupy an international roster slot.

Zamblé arrives from the Right to Dream Academy system, a pipeline that continues to grow in importance for SDFC. Sporting Director Tyler Heaps emphasized that continuity when discussing the signing, pointing to the strong developmental foundation and clear playing identity instilled through the Right to Dream pathway — traits that align closely with how San Diego wants to operate.

“Bryan is a player we’re excited to keep within the organization and welcome to San Diego,” said Heaps. “Coming through the Right to Dream pathway, he has been developed with a strong foundation, clear playing identity, and professionalism that align closely with how we operate here in San Diego. That background gives him a solid platform, and we look forward to continuing his growth and development within our environment.” 

The Ivory Coast native has spent the last seven years within the Right to Dream structure after joining the academy at just 11 years old. He now becomes the fourth Right to Dream graduate to sign with SDFC, joining Emmanuel Boateng, Marcus Ingvartsen, and Willy Kumado.

Most recently, Zamblé featured for the Right to Dream International Academy, a platform designed to give top prospects consistent matches against high-level competition as they prepare for the professional stage. He is one of more than 260 players to sign professionally out of the program, which was recognized as the Best Academy in the World at the 2025 Globe Soccer Awards.

On the international stage, Zamblé has represented Ivory Coast at both the U-16 and U-17 levels. In 2024, he competed against Saudi Arabia and Argentina at the prestigious Montaigu Tournament in France — valuable experience for a player still in the early stages of his development.

For San Diego, this move represents the club's continued intention to build through a defined pathway. Zamblé fits the long-term vision, and now the focus turns to how quickly he can translate that development into impact at the MLS level.
